Soon NEP2020 would be implemented discussion between the education minister and chancellor of universities.

The education minister discussed with the chancellor of universities regarding NEP 2020 implementation. The education minister of India, Ramesh Pokhriyal shows great interest in implementing NEP 2020 soon. But the outbreak of Covid-19 causes a chance in the focussing of discussion about NEP 2020. So it slows down the process of implementing the NEP 2020.

The full form of NEP 2020 is National Education Policy 2020 and it put back the 1986 National Policy on Education. This new policy of education is accepted on July 29th, 2021 by the Union Cabinet of India as a vision for the future system in the field of education.

The goal of the new National Education Policy 2020 is to change as well as transform the educational systems of India by the year, 2040. So it is based on long-term goals in the field of education. The National Education Policy 2020 provides a framework for primary, elementary education to higher studies or education in India.

The NEP 2020 suggests it will reform the educational system to provide high-quality educational facilities to all students. The new educational policy of India has so many changes and transformations in the case of modes of study, method of study, language, and so on. All the changes are mentioned in their official notification.

This new National Education Policy 2020, will be executed recently by the government of Karnataka from the academic year 2021 – 2022. It is reported that the government of Karnataka already issued an order to implement National Education Policy 2020 in the educational institutes.
