On 8th of April, all the students who prefer to give exams by using pen and paper must get ready. The date of offline mode JEE Main has been announced officially. Candidates must make haste in their preparation, if they seriously want to get enrolled in India’s highly esteemed Technological Institutes.

Every year, this most revered competitive test is conducted by CBSE. After clearing this exam the students enter into the next level of JEE. The next test, JEE Advance determines which student will be able to fulfil his or her dream of doing engineering in National Institutes of Technology (NITs). After qualifying JEE, students with respect to their ranking can easily get admission to NITs and other Central Government backed technical institutes.

There are other eligibility criteria that the students need to meet in order to get their name registered in the best NITs. Before applying candidates must take a glance at the eligibility criteria such as nationality, number of attempts and age limit. This national level entrance test is organized by IITs under the strict supervision of the Joint Admission Board.

Interestingly, this time all the JEE-Advance will be conducted online. This decision has been announced officially by the IITs. Many students and experts have lauded this announcement. On the other hand, some have shown their apprehensions on this decision of digitization. Many have questioned whether all the students are unanimously prepared for handling this “fully computer based test mode” or not.

Undoubtedly, there are many other competitive tests that have embraced an online mode of examination such as CAT, MAT and GATE. Still, it is a question that needs consideration that are all the students equally well versed to online testing. Well, only the future can reveal the truth.
